Settanta and Belvedere windows carry this Kitemark and have been rigorously tested both manually and mechanically for resistance to break-in. Regular samples are selected and tested at BSI to ensure they meet this exacting standard. NOVA have a purpose built security test rig, and through constant development are able to pride themselves on being one step ahead of the competition. That is why NOVA were one of the first companies to be awarded the BS 7950/7412 Kitemark and are well respected for window security.
Government legislation requires that all window installations be carried out in accordance with Part L of the building regulations. This specifies minimum energy efficiency performances of the windows. The Settanta and Belvedere range of PVC products when glazed using Pilkington 'K' or equivalent double glazed units will satisfy this requirement.

Phase Developments use glass that complies with the requirements of BS 6206: Impact performance requirements for flat safety glass for use in buildings.
